15.5" x 22" Linoleum Block Print Black and White Owl, Hoo?
Hello! This curious owl is printed from a hand carved linoleum block of an original drawing. Linoleum blocks are a type of reduction printmaking where the negative spaces around the image are carved away and the remaining raised areas are then inked and printed by hand or on a press.
The first edition will contain 100 signed and numbered prints. International orders can also be accommodated, but please realize that shipping times cannot be guaranteed due to Customs differences as each respective country. If you are placing an International order and are extra anxious, please message me and I will do my best to get yours out as soon as a possibly can.
Each image measures just under 12 by 18 inches (30.48 x 45.72 cm) and is printed on 15 by 22 inch (38.1 x 55.88cm) paper to allow ample space for framing. The proof, pictured here, and the final run are and will be printed with Cranfield Caligo Safe wash oil based inks on gorgeous 280 gsm paper. This 100% cotton rag paper is a personal favorite and is both archival and of a professional quality.
